In 2019, I went public with my diagnosis and launched Marti’s MS Life, a space to speak freely about the reality of living with this disease as a Black woman.

I was done pretending. Done masking. I needed a space to be honest, and to help others feel seen in a world that often looks away.

We’re a nonprofit built by people living with MS, designed to support those the system overlooks.

We’re not here to talk about awareness for the sake of it; we’re here to provide actual resources, education that resonates, and a community that reminds you you’re not alone.

This podcast is where I talk about the unglamorous parts of chronic illness, and the quiet triumphs that come anyway.

It’s where I unpack grief and joy in the same breath, and remind us both that we’re still here. Still standing. Still worthy of love, laughter, and good days ahead.
